What are you going to do?

This walk takes you past all the tourist attractions and sights London is most famous for. Much of the

focus is on history and culture. Along the way, you will see political and religious power hubs such as the Houses of Parliament, and adjacent Big Ben. But also the beautiful gothic Westminster Abbey, 10 Downing Street, and Buckingham Palace. This is the iconic London featured on postcards. Take a ride in the huge London Eye ferris wheel, and admire the spectacular views. Then continue toward Trafalgar Square, the National Gallery, and Royal Academy.

Done sightseeing? Then go shopping, or simply admire the window displays, in Mayfair. Bond Street

and the surrounding area is home to all the famous high-end fashion and jewelry brands—a shopping paradise for fashionistas with an accommodating wallet. Or head to Savile Row, one of the best-known streets for bespoke suits, tailor-made shirts, and custom shoes; everything here is made to measure. End the day with afternoon tea at the classic department store Fortnum & Mason, or at one of the more upscale hotels.

Because of the many iconic sights, this is a great walk for first time visitors. You will see classic London. The walk is fairly long, so consider biking the middle section through St. James’s Park if you want to save time.
