The industrial district of Sidi Ghanem has been around since the 1980s and has gradually developed from a rough neighbourhood with mainly workshops into a versatile place where you can find everything. From overflowing warehouses to exclusive design shops, this is the place to go if shopping is the main purpose of your city trip to Marrakech. A bicycle is useful, because even within the district, the shops can be quite far apart. You will also find some nice eateries where you can take a break.
