Montparnasse is an urban and cosy neighbourhood with a creative character thanks to the artists who moved into the area in the 1920s. The crowd here consists mainly of young people, including many locals and few tourists. The neighbourhood buzzes all day long. Fun cafes and bars colour the streets, there is something to see everywhere and prices here are just a bit lower than in other parts of the city.
