This beach bay has often been hailed by the international press as the most beautiful beach bay in Europe. And that in a city! From this vast, golden beach, you have views of Mount Igueldo (left), the island of Santa Clara (in the middle of the bay), and the old town and port along the Urgull hill, with the statue of Christ on top. There is great walking in any season, and in summer you can even swim to the island. Halfway through the swim, there are decking with a slide in the water. The Concha is the city's ultimate relaxation spot, with its beautiful high promenade and numerous terraces.
