Klarendal is a working-class neighbourhood with ditto houses. The authentic Arnhemmer lives here peacefully together with creative entrepreneurs who have also discovered the neighbourhood. It is a popular neighbourhood to live in, but also to work and go out. There are many studios cum shops and they are more specialised than in the city centre. The neighbourhood is also called the Fashion Quarter and that name is not unjustified. There are also many nice catering establishments.
