The Hoge Veluwe is largely located in Otterlo. The village is also known as 'the gateway to the Veluwe'; from here there is also an entrance to the park and you can visit the Kröller-Müller Museum and Jachthuis Sint Hubertus (which is officially in Hoenderloo). It is a perfect starting point for visiting the Hoge Veluwe. From here, you can go for good walks or a bike ride. There are also several bicycle rental companies in the village. If you want to relax on a nice day, go to de Zanding with its beach and swimming pond.
