In the north-west of the district, you will find two interesting museums: the Jüdisches Museum and the Berlinische Galerie. Otherwise, people live and work here. Things are very different in Kreuzberg 36, where desolate streets have become bustling in recent years and the largest Turkish community outside Turkey can be found.
