Take a stroll down Bergmannstraße, chill on a bench at Chamissoplatz and paddle in the waterfall at Viktoriapark.
Kreuzberg 61 is the district for you if you want to explore some of Berlin at a relaxed pace. Much of the district was spared from bombings. As a result, the Bergmannkiez, around Bergmannstraße and especially Chamissoplatz, gives you a good idea of what the city looked like before the war. It is a lovely district to stroll through, while you can take a seat here and there on one of the many cosy terraces or benches on the squares. Don't forget to walk up Kreuzberg in Viktoriapark. This is the highest natural hill in the city.
