Neukölln is the neighbourhood for anyone looking for a vibrant district with a raw edge. The neighbourhood is currently perhaps the most diverse in the city. Because the neighbourhood has been on the rise in recent years, there is still plenty of physical and creative space. The old airport is now a park, and an old village with a beautiful village square is enclosed by the city. On top of a boring shopping centre is a cool rooftop bar, and there are lots of new bars and nice restaurants. Not so long ago, this was a neighbourhood in development, but now Neukölln is an indispensable part of the list of Berlin neighbourhoods you must visit.
