Here you come for peace and quiet and a chat with a local. You will find popular cafés, quiet residential areas and some smaller museums.
You will find peace and quiet in these former working-class neighbourhoods. The elegant Langerei forms the border between the Sint-Anna and Sint-Gillis neighbourhoods. There is little commercial activity here, with the exception of Langestraat. This street is great for all budgets. Michelin-starred restaurants and eateries sit side by side, and you will find a unique interior design shop near the thrift store. Here you can visit some less obvious sights, such as Café Vlissinghe (the oldest café in Bruges), the Folklore Museum and the Lace Centre.
