Buy fruit at the morning market and watch the boats coming and going from the neighbouring park
Gruz is Dubrovnik’s harbour area. It’s always pleasantly bustling here. Ferries arrive, small sailing boats set off again, and traders sell their wares at the morning market. Time for a break? There are coffee bars and restaurants everywhere where you can take a breather. After the Old Town, Gruz is the busiest part of the city, although here you’ll mainly find yourself amongst the locals rather than the tourists.
