Eindhoven stole my heart years ago. Always something to do, accompanied by fine energy and Brabant conviviality!
Philips' enormous impact on Eindhoven can still be seen and felt throughout the city. That history combined with the modern design and high-tech character makes Eindhoven the place it is today: a modern hip city with Brabant cosiness and a raw edge. And a nice mix of old Philip history and modern buildings that alternate in the vibrant neighbourhoods, both in the city centre, the Bergen, and at Strijp-S and -R. There is a surprising amount to discover in Eindhoven. There are plenty of (sometimes hidden) gems in terms of eating and drinking, shopping and fun things to do, often in special former Philips buildings.
