But do make the effort, as this multicultural neighbourhood is well worth a visit. The main street in St. Georg is the Lange Reihe. It’s never a dull moment here, and you’ll find plenty of cafés, restaurants, galleries and shops. You’ll find plenty more of these in the side streets. If it all gets a bit too busy, you can seek out the tranquillity of the water and have a drink on the Außenalster or go for a boat trip.
