This is an ideal neighbourhood if you want to experience the daily life of Madrileños. The Chamberí and Tetuán districts lie to the north of the city centre. In Tetuán, you cannot miss the wide business artery Paseo de Castellana. Among spectacular high-rise buildings you will find the monumental Nuevos Ministerios office complex, housing several Spanish ministries. The residential district of Chamberí is very different. Here the street scene is defined by home-grown shops and squares with children playing. You are among the locals here.
