This is your district if you love beaches and museums. If you like shopping or have good food high on your list, this is also the place to be. In the 19th century, La Malagueta was an industrial area where many factories and wineries were located. Today, it is a lovely place to be. You walk down the promenade to Muelle Uno, the port area, where there are many shops and restaurants. If you want to soak up culture, Centre Pompidou is the place to be. Probably the district's biggest attraction is the beach of the same name. Here you can go for a swim, or eat or drink at one of the beach bars, chiringuitos.
