If you love shopping, Guéliz is the place for you. The neighbourhood has been developing for years. Large European and Moroccan chains have set up shop here, as well as charming French boutiques. The latter are mainly found in the side streets. You can shop and eat cheaply in this neighbourhood, but you can also spend all your money on that one perfect designer tunic. The highlight of this neighbourhood is the Jardin Majorelle (the Gardens of Yves Saint Laurent): an oasis of calm in the hustle and bustle of the city. Guéliz also offers affordable three- and four-star hotels, many with large roof terraces that come to life in the evening.
