Experience the quieter Marrakech in Kasbah. It is an enclosed district with its own city walls. You will find gems of sights here, such as the Saädische Graftomben and the Bab Agnaou, but you can also enjoy delicious patisserie. There are some lovely riads in this district, slightly quieter but still within walking distance of the medina. The neighbourhood has recently been renovated and more and more nice restaurants are springing up. Look out from the city gate and you can see the peaks of the Atlas Mountains. On the edge of the district, next to the Royal Palace, you can sleep among the stars in the best hotel in the world: La Mamounia.
