I have enjoyed living in this neighbourhood for several years. My favourite spot is the cosy Café Coogee on Boulevard Baille!
The Baille and Castellane neighbourhoods are a little less animated than the busy Cours Julien, but are still close to the city centre. You'll find hidden spots like arts centre Montévidéo and beer brewery Zoumaï. The main traffic square, Place Castellane, is slated to undergo a complete metamorphosis in 2022. So the district is on the rise, and this is reflected in the many fine restaurants that have established themselves here.
