Lively and welcoming – that’s Vomero. The neighbourhood is perched on top of a hill and overlooks the city. It’s home to the middle classes, who work hard, enjoy eating out, going to the theatre or cinema, and shopping. Along the wide streets, alongside large high-street chains, you’ll also find charming local shops, frequented by Neapolitan fashionistas. People come from far and wide to the Vomero market in search of bargains on bags, shoes, clothes and household goods. Villa Floridiana Park is peaceful and offers stunning views. Here you’ll see families, young people, couples in love and plenty of cats from the park’s cat colony.
