Lively and cosy, that's Vomero. The district sits atop a hill and overlooks the city. Here lives the middle class who work a lot, enjoy eating out, going to the theatre or cinema and shopping. Along the wide streets, besides big chain shops, there are also nice local shops, much frequented by Neapolitan fashionistas. To Vomero market people come from far and wide in search of bargains for bags, shoes, clothes and household goods. Park Villa Floridiana is quiet and offers stunning views. You will see families, youth, couples in love and many cats from the park's cat colony here.
