First artists' neighbourhoods, now full of boutique shops or haute couture affairs: this is a walhalla for fashionistas
If you're looking for hip, urban and cosy then this is the place to be. SoHo, formerly known for its grand lofts and arty galleries, is now the mecca for the shopping tourist. You'll find everything from hip fashion brands to unknown vintage trinkets. And if you've racked up enough shopping miles, shuffle on over to NoLita (North of Little Italy). Although most of the Italian-Americans have left here, you can still eat the most delicious spaghetti and meatballs. Once in Tribeca, the chances of sipping cocktails in one of the cafes next to a celebrity are considerably high, so make sure you look your Easter best.
