You’ll also find the Sainte-Chapelle cathedral here, with its stunning stained-glass windows, and La Conciergerie, where Queen Marie-Antoinette was imprisoned. You can enjoy a leisurely stroll along the Seine. Settle down in the Square du Vert-Galant or Place Dauphine for a picnic, or have a game of jeu de boules, just like the French do. You can cross a bridge to the Île Saint-Louis. This smaller island is known for the delicious ice creams at Berthillon and some lovely shops.
