For years, the stately district with its rich history was 'just' one of Seville's better neighbourhoods. Now it is reinventing itself with modern bars, original restaurants full of delicious food and a vibrant nightlife in its many cafés and clubs. Tradition is also still highly valued here; the proximity of the bull ring Plaza de Toros dominates the streetscape. You can also see the neighbourhood's distinguished streets and inhabitants that inspired numerous composers to write their operas.
