For an urban yet relaxed atmosphere, Encarnación & Regina is the place to be. For years, it was a neglected neighbourhood frequented mainly by locals. That all changed in 2004, when the council decided to breathe new life into the Plaza de la Encarnación. This led to the construction of the avant-garde Setas de Sevilla. Since then, the neighbourhood has been transformed into a hotspot for bohemian and multicultural Seville, with plenty of quirky retro boutiques. It’s also a great place to go for a healthy breakfast, a lavish brunch or a slow-food dinner. Or pay a visit to Spain’s oldest bar: El Rinconcillo.
