Get to know the more alternative side of the city in this hotspot for bohemian and multicultural Seville.
For an urban atmosphere and endless cosiness, Encarnación & Regina is the place to be. For years it was a neglected neighbourhood frequented mainly by locals. This came to an end in 2004 when the municipality decided to revitalise Plaza de la Encarnación. This resulted in the construction of the avant-garde Setas de Sevilla. Since then, the neighbourhood has been transformed into a hotspot for bohemian and multicultural Seville, with plenty of original retro boutiques. It's also a good place for a healthy breakfast, a sumptuous brunch or a slow-food dinner. Or visit Spain's oldest bar: El Rinconcillo.
