I often have a beer here with friends or carry on into the small hours of the morning in one of the many bars or clubs.
Second-hand goods, vintage items and antiques are a central feature of the streetscape in the Feria neighbourhood. This is particularly true on Thursdays, when the traditional Mercado del Jueves is held. In the surrounding streets, trendy boutiques sit alongside antique dealers and retro shops. Following the renovation of the Alameda de Hércules square, the surrounding neighbourhood has also come back to life. The square is a popular spot to meet up with friends and is full of bars, each with its own concept and clientele. If you walk a little further, you’ll soon notice that locals sometimes actually avoid these spots and go in search of more innovative places.
