Peace, legends and history; if you're looking for that combo in the centre of Seville, this is your place.
San Lorenzo and Museo are two adjacent neighbourhoods that most visitors really only know from the Museo de Bellas Artes. This is Spain's second most important visual arts museum after the Prado. Furthermore, both 17th-century neighbourhoods are visited almost exclusively by locals. These know the traditions and legends and are aware of the historical value of streets like Jesús del Gran Poder and San Vicente. There is a calmness emanating from the neighbourhoods, despite the many cosy cafés and restaurants. If you like a relaxed atmosphere among the locals, this is the place to be.
