Shoreditch
Shoreditch was traditionally a working-class neighborhood, but since the arrival of artists and the creative sector in the late 1980s, it has become one of the hippest neighborhoods in London. Although rents have continued to rise, the artsy vibe has remained. You’ll see this in all the street art, and in the industrial warehouses that are home to creative Web companies. The area is not only popular for its creative vibe, but also for its nightlife. Clubs, pubs, restaurants, markets and cafés: Shoreditch has it all. Brick Lane, also known as Banglatown, is where Londoners come for the only true national dish: curry!
