Enter the hotel bar and you would be forgiven for thinking you had stepped into another world with Black Ivy's design ethos rich in thought and attention to detail, resulting in a bar appearance which is a treat for the eyes and simply makes you think "wow”. Housed in 3 adjoining historic and beautiful town houses the hotel is contemporary and modern, inside and out. The welcome is warm and uniquely Scottish where you immediately feel part of the family and realise you have just discovered your new home from home. Above this coolest of bars with its live music, tank beer, table tennis games room and extensive and original cocktail list sits our boutique 22 bedroom Hotel offering divine luxurious beds, high speed WIFI, working desk and complimentary White Company Noir toiletries. The restaurant is open from 7am for the service of breakfast through to the early hours and is popular with locals and visitors alike. Our all-day menu has been created to suit all palates and cater for any dietary requirements. The South Side, as well as being a mecca for culture lovers and architecture buffs, is dominated by the vast green space of The Meadows which sits in front of Black Ivy's garden space which houses two warming and dramatic fire pits, bespoke seating and a tropical vibe whether your sipping a cooling summer cocktail or toasting marshmallow in the winter by the fire.
