    Tad old-fashioned, but very atmospheric. All rooms are different, it's a warren of stairs and corridors and breakfast is fine. Right in the centre.

    The Royal Scots Club is a 31-bedroom property located in Edinburgh's New Town, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Occupying three Georgian townhouses, the club is spread over six floors, with lift access to all levels. An additional property at 34A Abercromby Place houses four stylishly decorated en-suite bedrooms. Located opposite a peaceful garden, the club is less than a 10-minute walk from Princes Street, with local bus routes just a 2-minute walk away. Founded in 1919 as a tribute to those who fell in the Great War, The Royal Scots Club offers the charm of a country house hotel with a cozy club atmosphere. More personal than a hotel, it's the perfect home away from home for experiencing Scotland's capital city. The club offers bed and breakfast, meeting and event spaces, private dining, and excellent cuisine in our dining room.
