Positioned less than 100 metres from the seafront promenade and La Concha beach, Hotel Zenit Convento San Martín rests at the very heart of San Sebastián behind the classical façade of an old convent built in 1887 using stones from the Igeldo quarry for the congregation of the Servants of Mary. Nowadays it is a modern hotel which conserves a large portion of this history. The main hall is a beautifully restored chapel from the old convent which leads the way to modern facilities such as meeting rooms, a sun terrace, swimming pool, bar and cafeteria, restaurant and car park.
