Oud-West is the neighbourhood for anyone who wants to enjoy the city's vibrant character with the locals. The neighbourhood has become a popular area among people in their twenties and thirties in recent years. The explanation is simple: Oud-West has an endless amount of hip coffee shops and affordable, tasty restaurants. The old tram depot in the neighbourhood has been renamed De Hallen: a hotspot where you can eat and drink at one of the many street food stalls and even go to the cinema.
