Oud-West is the neighbourhood for anyone who wants to enjoy the city’s vibrant atmosphere alongside the locals. In recent years, the neighbourhood has become a popular spot amongst people in their twenties and thirties. The reason is simple: Oud-West boasts an endless array of trendy coffee shops and affordable, delicious restaurants. The old tram depot in the neighbourhood has been transformed into De Hallen: a hotspot where you can eat and drink at one of the many street food stalls and where you can even go to the cinema.
