Quartier Latin is the district for you if you are a shopaholic. It is a true shopping mecca with the Meir as its absolute centre point. Besides big chains, you will find impressive architecture on the busy Meir, with buildings from the 18th and 19th centuries. So don't forget to look up! The shopping itself is better done in boutiques in the smaller streets. Antwerp's theatre scene is also found here, with its three theatres.
