't Zuid is an ideal neighbourhood if you are looking for a vibrant part of town and have a love of art. You also come here if you love food and like to linger at outdoor cafés. Besides endless restaurants and cafés, you'll find great shops. This cosy neighbourhood is also the artistic heart of the city. Artists moved here when the housing market collapsed in the 1980s and it was very cheap. That artistic vibe is still there. You'll find small art galleries and three interesting museums: the FotoMuseum, the Museum of Contemporary Art and the Royal Museum of Fine Arts. Not a bad place for an art lover.
