Artists settled here when the property market collapsed in the 1980s and prices were low, and that creative atmosphere is still palpable today. You’ll find small art galleries and interesting museums here, such as the Fotomuseum, the Museum of Contemporary Art and the Royal Museum of Fine Arts.
