Buda has always been one of the fancier neighbourhoods. You can see this, among other things, in the highly educated, tastefully dressed and cosmopolitan locals. Also, most of the sights can be found here. All this makes it just a bit more expensive here than in the rest of Budapest. Green space is scarce in the city, but in Buda you will find it in abundance. The district is popular not only for its tranquillity, but also for its many good cafés and restaurants. Busy and bustling during the day, in the evening it has the atmosphere of a peaceful village.
