The neighbourhoods for foodies and museum-goers, but also perfect for a nice walk through the city green.
If you are looking for a cosy district full of eateries, architecture, museums and greenery, this is your district. Between the old city centre and the lakes lie the districts of Nørrevold and Østervold with their gracious buildings from the late 19th century. In this stylish part of town you will find many parks, museums, nice shops and good restaurants. In Nørrevold, you will find the foodmarket Torvehallerne on the recently refurbished Israels Plads, surrounded by several restaurants and cafés. It is busy here all year round and hosts several events in summer. Østervold is special because of its museums, botanical garden and quaint waterside neighbourhood.
