If you are looking for a bit more peace and quiet, Østerbro is a very nice neighbourhood to stay in.
Want to enjoy nice shops, lots of space, greenery and great lunch spots in a quiet but lively neighbourhood? Then Østerbro is the neighbourhood for you. Østerbro is a chic residential area with spacious, high-rise apartment buildings dating from the early 20th century. To the south of the neighbourhood is a path used for walking and jogging. This path runs all the way along Copenhagen's five artificial lakes and connects Østerbro with Nørrebro. The central park, Fælledpark, and the adjacent stadium are often used for events. The neighbourhood also has more intimate, authentic neighbourhoods, and closer to the centre, it is pleasantly busy.
