If you are looking for a bit more peace and quiet, Østerbro is a very nice neighbourhood to stay in.
Fancy enjoying nice shops, lots of space, greenery and nice lunch spots in a quiet but cosy neighbourhood? Then Østerbro is the neighbourhood for you. Østerbro is an upmarket residential area that is wide with tall apartment buildings from the early 20th century. South of the district runs a path used for walking and jogging. This path leads all the way along Copenhagen's five artificial lakes and connects Østerbro with Nørrebro. The central park Fælledpark and the adjacent stadium are often used for events. The district also has more intimate, authentic neighbourhoods and closer to the city centre it is pleasantly busy.
