This is the place to be for the city’s commercial heart. Nestled amongst historic landmarks such as the Rathaus and the Levantehaus, you’ll find the city’s bustling business centre, with its major retail chains, galleries and excellent, slightly more upmarket restaurants. The Jungfernstieg on the Binnenalster is the place to stroll and watch the world go by. Businesspeople also meet up here during their lunch breaks. There’s no shortage of lovely places to eat. On Jungfernstieg, you can also hop aboard a tour boat for a trip around the Binnenalster and Außenalster.
