These districts are not to be missed if you want to mingle with the locals, who frequent the many restaurants and bars there.
As a lover of good food, this is the place to be. The Cais do Sodré neighbourhood is booming, thanks in part to the Mercado da Ribeira: Lisbon's largest indoor market. It is also very lively at night, thanks to its many nice restaurants, cafés and dance venues. Some of these places on the Tagus River have an added bonus: the beautiful views. On Ribeira das Naus, you can stroll along the waterfront. Pink Street is known as Lisbon's nightlife street. Also visit designer district Santos and discover the other Lisbon. There is no shortage of fun bars and restaurants in Santos either.
