The seaside resort of Cascais is located 30 kilometres from Lisbon. It takes 40 minutes to get there from Cais do Sodré station: a beautiful train journey along the coast, Costa de Estoril. Once you arrive in Cascais, you can stroll past authentic buildings and squares or rent a bicycle and enjoy the fresh air at Boca do Inferno. In the centre, you will find the Mercado da Vila with fresh vegetables, fruit, meat and fish. If you walk out of the centre, you can reach the popular surfing beach Guincho on foot or by bus.
