The Basilique Notre-Dame de Fourvière is richly decorated inside with gold and mosaics, and the Musée Lugdunum has a remarkable collection of Roman artefacts, which offer a glimpse into life around the beginning of the Common Era. The two open-air theatres (which are free to visit) are well preserved and an experience in their own right. You can also enjoy breathtaking views from various spots, such as the Jardin des Curiosités.
