As far as I’m concerned, the Bosco Verticale is the most beautiful modern building in the city!
If you love (modern) architecture, this is the place for you. Shoppers will also be in their element here. Despite its minimalist architecture, the area – named after the former gateways Porta Garibaldi and Porta Nuova – has a great atmosphere, with a park where small events are regularly held. The neighbourhood is full of impressive high-rise buildings. Walk on from the Bosco Verticale to the Isola district for lovely boutiques and great places to eat and drink. Further towards the centre of Milan, you can go (window) shopping in Piazza Gae Aulenti and on Corso Como. Food lovers should head to Piazza XXV and Eataly Smeraldo.
