This is the neighbourhood to experience the grandeur of Paris. This historic district exudes Parisian chic and is much loved. The Champs-Élysées is one of the most beautiful – and most expensive – streets in the world. If you start at the Arc de Triomphe, most of the shops are on your left. The street is long, so don’t underestimate the distance. Here you’ll find major brands such as Louis Vuitton (above the shop is a beautiful exhibition space), but also the more accessible Zara. Le Triangle d’Or, the golden triangle packed with major fashion houses, is formed by Avenue George V and Avenue Montaigne. Around Madeleine & Place Vendôme you’ll find Parisian bistros, tea rooms and exorbitantly expensive hotels.
