Triana is the neighbourhood for you if you’re looking for a lively area. If Seville is famous for anything, it’s flamenco – and when you say flamenco, you say Triana. This working-class neighbourhood has become one of the most popular areas in the city. Visits are often limited to the Puente de Triana, which is a shame, as there is so much more to discover. For example, the Mercado de Triana for local produce, or one of the many pottery shops. In Calle San Jacinto and Calle Rodrigo de Triana, you can experience how old traditions and folklore are kept alive. In the evening, you can head to Lola Cazerola, amongst other places, for flamenco.
