Oudwijk is traditionally the chic neighbourhood of Utrecht, with the beautiful Wilhelminapark. It is mainly inhabited by doctors from the UMC and lawyers and notaries who have their offices on Maliebaan. In the middle of the district is Burgemeester Reigerstraat, a lively street with a wide range of coffee shops and restaurants. Beyond Wilhelminapark, the city bustle gets further and further away. Just before the motorway stands the Rietveld Schröderhuis. Behind it begins the Utrecht countryside around the Kromme Rijn, where you can enjoy walking, cycling or canoeing.
