Algirós is the lively part of the city, where the more than 60,000 students live, go out and study.
Algiros is the lively part of the city. Much of the Universitat de València is located here. On either side of Avenida de los Naranjos are the technical university and the faculties of law and economics. The university grounds are a city in themselves, with restaurants, a bank, a hairdresser, the library, sports fields and several parks. Between the university and Avenida Blasco Ibañez, many students have dorm rooms. At night, they can be found in and around Plaza Honduras and Calle Serpis, where there is a great choice of restaurants and bars.
