In El Pla del Real, you can stroll along the long avenues and enjoy a refreshing drink on a terrace.
This is the place to be for a lively atmosphere combined with a relaxing time in the park. The neighbourhood borders the Jardín del Túria. Running parallel to this is the Paseo de Alameda, formerly the access road from the sea to the royal gardens and the royal palace. The palace is now gone, but the atmosphere is still regal. You can relax there with a bite to eat and a drink beneath the enormous ficus trees. The Mestalla Stadium, home to Valencia CF, is also located in this neighbourhood. Before and after a match, the supporters create a lively atmosphere in the pubs around the stadium, and during the match you can hear from a distance if a goal has been scored.
