Hotel Monasterium PoortAckere is a unique hotel located in the heart of Ghent in the renovated identically named monastery from the 13th century. Thanks to the recent renovation works, you can enjoy authentic rooms with modern comfort in one of the 111 rooms. The rooms are equipped with air conditioning, a coffee machine, kettle, a flat screen TV and WiFi. Enter the hotel after a busy day in an overwhelming tranquillity in the peaceful courtyard garden or in the cozy bar, with its wide selection of Belgian beers. Due to its beautiful location in the center of Ghent, you can reach the bustling city and its main sights such as the Belfry, St. Bavo's Cathedral or the medieval Castle of Gravensteen in just a few minutes by foot. A stone's throw away you will find the shopping streets such as Veldstraat, Lange munt and countless other boutique shops.
